Parent and Child Classes

(6-48 months)

 Cost:  $50 for 8 1/2 Hour Sessions

5 babies with adults per class maximum. Saturday classes only.

Our parent and child classes are a great way to get your young one active and teach him or her the fundamentals of swimming and water safety.  These classes teach important safety skills and water enjoyment through the use of songs and engaging activities.   This class is for children who have never taken formal classes and need to learn beginning skills such as breath-holding, bubbles, kicking and comfortable submersions. Parent and child work together with the instructors to learn skills including back floats, submersions (not forced) and rollover breathing through songs and games in a fun, family environment with expert instruction.   You will be amazed at how comfortable your child can be in the water at this age.   They will start in this class and then be moved into the class appropriate for their age when they are familiar with the above skills. Pool will be 90 degree with plenty of teaching toys.   It is a great bonding time for parent and child.
