MEET RESULTS, TEAM STANDINGS AND HIGH
POINTS (Aberdeen Aquaholics placed very nicely considering
we only had two athletes competing at this prestigious meet -
good job Michael and Michaela). Michaela achieved A times in
her breast and back stroke and placed 3rd overall - way
to go girl!
Since this was a TYR sponsored meet, Michael Alexandrov, current
breaststroke record holder, attended this meet and signed
autographs. Michael Alexandrov introduced himself to us
and watched Michael swim his 50 breast - what a great
guy! Also, Mitchell Friedeman, prior 50 back NAG record
holder (before Michael broke it) was at this meet and it was
Michael's priviledge to meet him after he swam the 50 free with the
big boys when Mitchell came to congratulate Michael. We
thank God for a great weekend, great swims and safe travels.
